Foster care is the alternative form of raising children. It allows children deprived of parental care, be placed in a family. The aim is that children are raised in a family and thus to obtain best possible care and opportunities for development.

Training course for adoptive parents in Pernik

On 10th November 2010 in the Regional Foster care Center, Pernik, started a training course for candidates for adoptive parents. The future adoptive families will be prepared for parenting and they will acquire a lot of knowledge and skills how to bring up their children.

The trainings will be provided by the social workers from RFCS – Pernik.

Foster Care Training Course in Pernik

On 10th November 2010 in the Regional Foster care Center, Pernik, started a training course for applicant and real foster families.

The trainings are situated in nine modules – total 42 hours. The participants will be trained to meet their future responsibilities as foster families. The instructions will be given by the social workers from RFCS – Pernik.

Foster Care Information Meeting in Pernik

Social workers from Regional Foster Care Center, Pernik, organized an information meeting in Kutsian neighborhood, Pernik city. It was held on 5th November 2010 with the assistance of Mrs. Zornitza Georgieva – health mediator.

Twelve Roma families attended to this meeting. A lot of questions about the essence of foster care procedures were asked.

Christmas party for foster children and parents.

On the occasion of Christmas, Regional Center of Foster Care, Stara Zagora, organized a party for foster children, foster families and their children. The celebration is going to attend on December 19 2008 (Friday), at 6.00 pm in the foyer of the Complex for Social Services for Children and Families.
